Relative clauses we can use in our life to :
- Identify,
- Define or
- Classify
a person or thing.
we can use four words in Relatives Clauses, and these are:
- Who
- Which
- That
- Whose
1. we use WHO for people.
example:
The man Who came last week is my Father.
The girl Who is in the park is my sister María.
2. we use WHICH for things
example:
The cellphone Which is on bed, is mine.
Luis has a book Which I sometime forget return.
3. we use THAT for people or things
example:
I have a Friend That I always visit on sunday.
The radio That is in my house, it's damaged
4. we use WHOSE for indicate that the noun that follows it belong to the preceding noun.
example:
I have a friend Whose brother is an actor.
Joel lives in a house Whose roof is full of holes.
